Hello Michael,
We are avid fly fishermen who travel to many remote destinations.
This past August found us fly fishing for Arctic Char at High Arctic
Lodge on Victoria Island, Nunavut and three days after our return, we
traveled to the Selous Game Reserve in Tanzania and stayed at Beho
Beho Resort to experience the wilds of Africa. It was a fantastic
experience on both counts.
Preparing for the trip left us with an interesting problem of how to
deal with bugs of all types on two continents for and not be covered
in deet for weeks. The bugs in the High Arctic are extreme as they
only have about 5 weeks to fill their bellies and there are literally
thousands buzzing around you at any given time. Of course malaria is
the biggest concern when in Africa but there is also the Tsetse fly
that not only hurt when they bite, but can carry other illnesses
too. I was excited when introduced to your product at Reaction Fly
and Tackle in Chilliwack BC and thought I'd give it the ultimate test.
This product not only worked, it excelled! The ingredients are
moisturizing, refreshing on the skin and leave you smelling like you
just came from the spa instead of a chemical factory AND it doesn't
melt plastic! After sharing with almost everyone I came in contact
with and using it daily myself, I still have half a bottle left! I'm
generous with how much I use too. All the fishing and the Safari
guides loved the spray and wanted to know where to find it. The
guides in Tanzania were especially happy that the Tsetse flies didn't
like it!!

Dear Mike,
Thank
you for the samples of your Nutri-Shield insect repellent that you sent
to me and for our work crews in New Orleans, La. As you know we put
your product to the test in two of the most insect infested areas of
the U.S. and I will now share with you our findings:
First of
all I used your product to combat the No-See-Um and Mosquito
populations at dusk while fishing in my local ponds near my home in
Clearwater, Fl. I am pleased to inform you that though many insects
were present none would light on me for even an instant. It made for an
enjoyable time chasing Largemouth Bass without the constant annoyance
of insect bites.
Secondly, I would like to draw attention to
your product in that it is not only highly effective at repelling
insects but it is also effective as a fish attractant. I soaked my
lures in your product and was able to land NINE Bass in about three
hours. This is above average for the fifteen years I have fished my
local ponds. As an avid fisherman it is very convenient to be able to
spray insect repellent liberally without regard to avoiding my hands
which normally results in repelling the fish as well should I
accidentally touch my lure. In fact the product seems to work as an
attractant for fish and I will use it regularly for both the intended
purposes. The smell of your product is not offensive and dissipates
quickly, and the fact that it is all natural and organic gives me peace
of mind that I am not dousing myself with all sorts of harmful
chemicals for prolonged periods.
As for the work crews located
in New Orleans, La., they tried your product in the most insect
infested area of the “Bayou Country” and the results were phenomenal.
No bug bites of any kind were reported during peak feeding times for
insects. The presence of insects was noticeable but no bites were
reported for the duration of the day. Our crews endorse your product
for it’s effectiveness under the worst possible conditions and for the
fact that it is not harmful under continued use due to the organic
compounds used in the formulation. I wish you the best of luck in your
pursuit to market this product and I think you should do very well.

Dear Mike,
Thanks for the free samples of your insect repellent. This
is the first year in 11 years of going to Canada and there were
hardly any mosquito's, black flies or anything for that matter.
Your spray is so good I didn't even have to use it just the site of
the bottle scared them away....But seriously there were a few and
when they did come around 1 spray and they were gone. I let my
fishing partners use it and left one bottle on the fish cleaning
table.Everybody liked it, especially at the fish cleaning table
that's where they attack you the most, one or two sprays and they
were gone. I also sprayed it on my lures almost all the time.
Northern Pike seem to be partial to peppermint. I highly recommend
it. I use it on my dog too.
